It's the day of the Super Bowl and every self-proclaimed NFL Picks "expert" is coming out of the woodwork to tell you exactly who is going to win the Super Bowl! Some you probably never even heard from during the NFL Picks reqular season. While there is certainly a plethora of "Experts" out there the fact remains that the art of NFL Picks handicapping doesn't, or shouldn't, change just because it's the Super Bowl! I myself, look for statistical NFL Picks angles that could put the winning selection in my camp! Some important NFL Picks stats that I look at are rushing, passing, turnovers, and time of possession. So let's take a look at home some of these stats have faired over the NFL Picks years when looking at the Super Bowl:

Teams that rush for more yards in the Super Bowl are 35-9 SU & 32-9-3 ATS (78%).

Teams that average more passing yards per attempt in the NFL Picks Super Bowl are 38-6 SU & 32-9-3 ATS (78%).

In all of the NFL Picks Super Bowls, the team that has more turnovers has won just four times SU and six times ATS (86%).

Teams that win the time of possession in the NFL Picks Super Bowl are 32-12 SU & 31-10-3 ATS (76%).

Teams that hold an edge in at least three of these four stats are 36-2 SU & 32-5-1 ATS (86%).

Teams that win all four categories are 23-0 SU & 21-1-1 ATS.

Back in 2009, Arizona ran for more yards, turned the ball over fewer times, and possessed the ball longer than Pittsburgh and covered the point spread. The only ATS loss occurred in Super Bowl XXXIX in Philadelphia’s ATS win versus the Patriots.

So, there you have it! Disecting these stats for today's NFL Picks Super Bowl will get you the winner!
