Pineda hasn’t overwhelmed anyone this season and has pitched just once in the majors since mid-June. White Sox starter Cease has pitched well at home this year and he has electric stuff that can be tough for a hitter to catch up to, much less guess what pitch may be coming.

In 15 matchups this season the White Sox have won 12 while averaging 7.1 runs per game. That puts immense pressure on a struggling Twins bullpen on Wednesday. The White Sox are the better team and that, plus home field advantage, is enough to give them the win in the series finale. The Twins are 2-10 their last 12 on the road and I expect that trend to continue tonight!
