We like the home side in the opener of this divisional contest. These are a couple of the worst teams so far in all of MLB. KC is 14-31, including just 8-14 on the road, while Chicago is 16-29, including only 9-13 at home. Zach Greinke is just 1-4 with a 5.01 ERA for the visiting side, while Michael Kopech is only 1-4 with a 5.74 ERA for the home side. Let's call these guys a "wash." Off the 3-1 home loss to the Guardians last night though, note that Chicago is 7-3 in its last ten off a home loss as a favorite in which it was held to one or less runs in. They say divisional contests are always the most important, and they almost always mean the most to the home side; consider Chicago in this one!
