This is an 8* SITUATIONAL DESTRUCTION on Tulsa.

I think the Owls are going to have a letdown this week. So far Temple has obviously exceeded expectations, it has a win over an SEC opponent and is undefeated in conference play thus far. The Owls have been getting the job done with a No. 3 ranked defense, giving up only an average of 12 PPG. However, I believe the team comes in complacent here, leaving the back door open just enough for the Golden Hurricane to sneak through. Note though that in Temple's lone loss of the year, Navy did score 31 points. Tulsa opened the season with an improbable come from behind victory over Tulane and will be playing just its second conference contest of the year. It's safe to say that Tulsa is going to be the "hungrier" and more "focused" team today as it looks to snap a four-game losing streak, including a 42-17 setback at Colorado State last week. One player you'll definitely want to keep your eyes on today is Tulsa WR Keevan Lucas who ranks fourth nationally in receptions (8.8 per game) and 12th in receiving yards (108). QB Dan Evans has gone 117 of 214 passes for 1,367 yards and nine TD's. Note that Temple comes in off its bye week as well, which is going to have a negative impact on the team's chemistry out of the gate in my opinion, a factor which definitely works in our favor. Temple's offense hasn't been nearly as good as its defense, a unit which is led by QB PJ Walker who has thrown for 805 yards and seven TD's. I think it's important to note that Temple is in fact just 6-8 ATS at home the last two years. I'm grabbing as many points as I can; play on TULSA.
