I like Jose Berrios (7-5, 3.48 ERA) in this matchup over his counterpart Wade LeBlanc (0-2, 4.31). LeBlanc is coming off another shaky start for the Cards, most recently allowing three runs off eight hits over four innings in a fortunate no-decision to the Reds. He's only pitched 22 innings and his decent ERA is not supported at all by his pedestrian/poor 1.55 WHIP and 15/9 K:BB. Berrios gave up two runs over seven innings and still took a loss to the Angels in his last outing. Off that hard-luck setback, I look for Berrios to be pivotal in his team posting a victory here; lay the short price!
