Washington's Fedde got hit in his first start of the season. The Cardinals Gant looked really good in his opening start and should be able to shut down the Nationals’ lineup. The Nationals are hitting .282 as a team, compared to .216 for the Cardinals, but the pitching is the key. Arenado has hit well against Fedde and Goldschmidt and Molina will have plenty of chances to drive runners home.
