LA Clippers vs. New Orleans,

Score: 114 - 96
Point Spread: +5½/-110 New Orleans
The Clippers came out focused and played extremely hard last night vs the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers, and took a well deserved road victory. But now after that big time game , I believe they will be in a bit of an emotional let down scenario, and more importantly on tired legs, after last nights supreme effort which leads into this being their 6th straight road game.
Meanwhile, The Pelicans have come to life after a ugly 0-8 start to win seven of their last 11 games, behind the spectacular play of forward Anthony Davis, who leads the NBA in points (32.1) and blocked shots (2.8) and ranks seventh in rebounds (11.2). Another key to the Pelicans revival has been the return of guard Jrue Holidaday, who has become a true catalyst and floor general for his team. Consdiering the Pelicans defeated the Clippers 109-105 at home on March 20 last season and took the Clippers to overtime at Los Angeles on Jan. 10 I believe this group actually matches up well against an exhausted Clippers side. It must be noted that NBA teams where the line is +3 to -3 like the Pelicans - off a home win by 10 points or more against opponent off an upset win as a road underdog are 27-6 ATS L/33 dating back 5 campaigns.
NEW ORLEANS is 26-12 ATS L/38 as a home underdog. Gentry is 22-9 ATS L/31 in home games after 5 straight games - allowing a shooting pct. of 42% or less.
