Point Spread: +5/-106 Boston College

Sportsbook: 5Dimes

Result: Loss

Play Boston College (Game 304).
This is my Friday Night Lights Winner.

Let's talk numbers. Boston College is 13-4 SU in their L17 openers at Chestnut Hill while Pittsburgh is 3-9-1 ATS their L13 road openers. The Panthers failed to cover in all three games as a road fav last year as the Eagles covered the number in both games as a home 'dog a season ago. As a matter of fact, BC has covered 4 straight as a 'dog in their house. Receiver, Tyler Boyd is slated to play here but will not be 100% after dislocating a finger in last week's contest. The veteran Eagles secondary will give Soph QB, Chad Voytik problems in just his second career start. Last week, the QB was only 10-for-13, with 84 YP in the opener against Delaware. Tyler Murphy threw for 173 YP and rushed for another 118 yards on the ground a week ago. The running game is solid with Rouse and Willis teaming up in the backfield and in his first game as a receiver, Josh Bordner pulled in 4 receptions for 81 yards, and a TD. The Home Team is 4-1 ATS the L5 meetings in this series. The Panthers are 0-4 ATS their L4 games played following a SU win while the Eagles are 5-1 ATS their L6 games played at home. Take Boston College. Thank you.
