Score: 3 - 9
Money Line: -174 Toronto
This is an 8* play on the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Jays are flying high since the trade deadline, coming into tonight's home game versus the Twins as winners of seven of their last eight. They trail New York by just 4.5 games in the division, and they should have a decent chance to gain more ground tonight.
Mark Buehrle will toe the slab for the Jays, and he's been the epitome of consistency again this season. Buehrle (11-5, 3.32 ERA) allowed three earned runs on five hits over seven innings in a no decision versus the Royals his last time out. He's 5-1 with a 3.09 ERA in nine starts at Rogers Center.
The Twins hand the ball to Kyle Gibson, who has been better at home in Minnesota. Gibson (8-8, 3.37 ERA) allowed a pair of runs on six hits over seven innings in a home win over the Mariners his last time out. He was rocked for six runs on 10 hits in five innings in a loss to the Angels in his last start on the road.
Donalson Bautista and Encarnacion all homered in last night's win, and Donaldson has hit home runs in all three games in this series so far.
